New!!  Lake Central 4, Crown Point 1 - 5/20/10

Crown Point 12, Portage 2 - 5/03/10

Crown Point 5, LaPorte 4 - 4/21/10

Two of the top teams in the State squared off in Crown Point Wednesday evening (4/21) with the Bulldogs claiming a 5-4 win over LaPorte.  Mike Manion's bouncer to third base with two out in the bottom of the seventh resulted in an errant throw (at right), scoring starting pitcher Josh Negele from third with the winning run.  It was redemption for Manion after coming on in relief with a 4-3 lead in the top of the seventh and surrendering a game tying double to LaPorte's Jacob Craft.  You will find 57 images from this game by following the links to the left.  Game Galleries will open in a new window.  Click on the thumbnails to view a larger version and close the window to exit the Gallery.

Chesterton 5, Crown Point 4 - 4/19/10

Chesterton scored a pair of runs in the top of seventh inning to break a 3-3 tie, then held on for a 5-4 win over undefeated Crown Point.  Jordan Peterson went the distance for the Trojans with nine strikeouts to earn the victory.  Peterson also had three hits and scored a pair of runs.  Taylor Brown hit a wind defying home run to left in the top of the seventh to break the tie.  You will find 65 images from this game by following the links to the left.  Game Galleries will open in a new window.  Click on the thumbnails to view a larger version and close the window to exit the Gallery.

Crown Point 8, Valpo 4 - 4/15/10

Crown Point 5, Munster 2 - 4/10/10
